“Being able to just talk about my feelings to people who understood me.”
“How kind everyone was and how we could open up.”
“The people get me and most people outside the group don’t get me so I like coming here.”
“I liked that I could relate to people and I could have friends that relate to me.”
“I liked the bonds and friendship I made or strengthened. I also like there not being too many people because it made it so everyone can be heard and make sure everyone felt safe about what they say.”
“Learning different ways to cope with stress.”
“That it helped me understand that others are feeling these feelings too.”
“I liked being able to talk to kids my own age about mental health without feeling judged.”
